Educational Background and Business Experience
Eric Marzinke is a graduate of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts major in Business and Economics in 1991.
During the 90s', Eric worked in the banking and mortgage industries with Norwest Bank in Minneapolis and the First National Bank in Sioux Falls, SD. Eric's duties included audit, mortgage processing, international finance, and retirement plan consulting.
On August 1st, 2000, Eric joined the financial planning community. He is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative. He started his career with AXA Advisors in Northbrook, IL. He later joined InterSecurities, Inc & Transamerica Financial Advisors in St. Petersburg, FL.
In January of 2013, Eric joined Woodbury Financial Services, Inc., an independent broker-dealer.
Eric loves spending time with his wife Karen and his dog Gracie. In his spare time, Eric enjoys reading, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
Lastly, up until 2016, Eric was in practice together with his father, Walter Marzinke, who has now passed away. Eric and Walter created a wonderful, thriving practice. Walter's legacy is now being carried on by Eric, who is leading and helping meet their clients' needs.
Eric maintains his Series 7 and 66 registrations through Woodbury Financial Services, Inc. He also maintains various insurance licenses as an independent insurance agent through ProMark Planners, Inc.
